For this machine tending application, DM2 specifically wanted a collaborative robot. This is because they were aware of the space needed to properly gate off an industrial robot and they didn’t have the room. Additionally, their team wanted the flexibility to have easy access to the robot, user-friendly controls, and fast cycle times. Crotts & Saunders worked with DM2 along to way to pick the right CRX model and to ensure the success of programming set-up and installation. This automation system is now up and running shifts for DM2.
