Bowe states that having the A3 Certification makes our organization a part of an elite group within the automation industry. There is only a hand full of integrators in the United States that have this respected rating. To obtain our certification, Ultra Tech had to undergo a vetting process that included an in-depth review of Ultra Tech’s ISO and quality standard certifications, risk assessment processes, testing abilities, and all other systems. Each robot technician underwent an interview with the A3 evaluator to ensure they were highly skilled and trained to handle a variety of robotic applications.

Bowe explains that this certification shows customers Ultra Tech provides the highest level of automation solutionsAutomation. He talks about the trend of certain automation startup outfits claiming they have expertise in automation but, in fact, need to gain the proper experience to successfully help shops integrate robots. The A3 Certification sets our team apart because the customer knows we are a company with all documents and resources to implement and support automation solutions for various projects.

The A3 Certification is an accomplishment for Ultra Tech. The company has been involved in robotics since 2001, when it became an Authorized Systems Integrator for Fanuc. Over the last 20 years, Ultra Tech has become well known for its ability to integrate complex turnkey systems using automation, multicell robotic systems, collaborative machine tending applications, automated inspection systems, and more. In addition to the A3 Certification, Ultra Tech also became one of the only Level 4 Fanuc integrators in the U.S. and takes that status very seriously.
